Gucci just launched is Fifth avenue Flagship store in NYC. Just in time to drop their highly anticipated “Gucci Hearts NY” collection.
“Gucci is also launching a special microsite to go along with the launch of the “Gucci Hearts NY” products. All “Gucci Hearts NY” and Fifth Avenue products can only be purchased at the new Fifth Avenue store and each bears an inscribed internal “Gucci 5th Avenue” plaque”.

Laces CLOSED

Laces – The women’s-only sneaker boutique at 252 Mott Street between Houston and Prince Streets in New York is now closed. The space is empty, and now has a “For Rent” sign in the storefront; their website has also been wiped clean. The shop lasted just over two years, which isn’t terribly bad for Nolita. Shout out to Louis for the blood sweat and tears he put into it.

Nike SB got an itch for celebrity “has been” inspired kicks with shoes inspired by Pee-Wee Herman, Milli Vanilli, and Vanilla Ice. Nike has put together the Nike Dunk High inspired by the legendary stunt man Evil Knievel to honor the late aerial hero. The shoes draw inspiration from Evil’s famous jacket that he wore while soaring over cars and canyons. These Dunks are also an exclusive to House of Hoops in NYC. Pics thanks to Sneaker News.

Nike "Be True" Locker

Nike South East Asia has done a special Dunk Locker packaging for the Nike Dunk Be True campaign. It’s a special locker which contains the 7 pairs of “Be True to Your School” Dunks as seen on the poster. These lockers are made as part of the Dunk campaign’s initiatives. Mark Ong (SBTG) was one of the first to receive them as part of the seeding program. Word has it these lockers might even be given away as lucky draw during their series of Dunk events in South East Asia.
