Marcs Naked Truth

Marc Jacobs and celebrities like Winona Ryder, Christy Turlington, Selma Blair, Dita Von Teese, Rufus Wainwright, Julianne Moore, and Naomi Campell got together and got naked for a skin cancer awareness campaign. Their photos taken by Brian Bowen Smith are being printed on a series of Marc Jacobs’ tees to be sold in the store alongside with the on going awareness campaign. The proceed from the sale of the tees will go directly to NYU’s Melanoma Cooperative. This skin cancer awareness campaign has stars covering their body parts with cheeky slogans like “Save Your Ass” or “Protect Your Largest Organ”.Each tee is retailed at only USD20 at Marc Jacobs stores for limited time.

Hands up! Say cheese………..and shoot! Confused? The person who is posing to be clicked will also seem to fall dead when you click from this Mamiya1954 – a pistol camera. Created in 1954 by Mamiya of Japan, only 250 were made for police training purposes, and were never offered to the public. They shoot half-size onto 35mm film, and had fixed-focus 45mm lenses. So it isn’t for those who seek digis and hi-tech cameras of course. Although one of them was bid for $16,500 at Christies in 1993, this one is up on eBay for $25,000.

It’s always good seeing Nike SB’s that never released to the public. Here’s a Dunk High for all you SB fans. This sneaker was only sampled, never released to the public. The overall design is one of the most creative we’ve seen in a while; the bottom of the sole has strips of hay layered into it! This was an ‘06 sample, so you know it’s long gone. Why do all the good samples get thrown away?!
