American Gladiator Hits The TV Circuit Again

The reinvention of “American Gladiators” is finally under way at NBC. The network is partnering with MGM Television and Reveille for a long-rumored modern update on the campy early-1990s classic. The NO-HOLDS-BARRED hit competition series returns to prime-time television!NBC is relaunching the classic competition series “American Gladiators” and is currently auditioning CONTENDERS and GLADIATORS for our upcoming premiere season. NBC is planning on updating the late 80’s early 90’s classic show and giving it a new edge. Also, rumors are flying about that WWE legend Hulk Hogan will be the host. It doesn’t get any better than that.

A Physical Education class sure to get the attention of children, skateboarding in school – the skateboard today, is not frowned upon as it was in my years (which saw its invention), but is being positively embraced and promoted in schools across the U.S. and the globe, on its way to becoming the ‘new P.E.’, for the new generations. With elitist competitive sports, such as football, athletics, basketball, and soccer, taking up much of the physical education curriculum, skateboarding is providing an attractive alternative for an individual and non-competitive physical activity.
