GK Power, a Seoul-based smart card maker and online game provider, developed a luxury card and began selling it to local and overseas banks last year. Recently, it signed a $175,000 contract with Dubai First Bank in September to supply 1,000 cards worth 300 times more than conventional plain plastic cards, for the bank’s most valued clients.

Lever House NYC

New York’s Lever House hired artist Damian Hirst to create an installation of his signature works. It cost around $10 million USD. The NYC Restaraunt, has set up its lobby area to feature some of the most important artists of our time, including Jeff Koons and now Hirst, who’s show launched on the 10th. The project, called School: The Archaeology of Lost Desires, Comprehending Infinity and the Search for Knowledge, includes several sheep, a bull, a shark, and a dove, all floating in formaldehyde.
